Built to suit your bending needs, our standard design can be easily converted to suit any bend contour you require. With a quick changeover time, the machine can be ready to bend a different part. A typical part-to-part cycle time is only 20 seconds. Why Nylon? As material technology evolves, so must the machinery that produces the products. Nylon is becoming a common choice for fuel lines. By understanding the thermal properties of nylon and its physical properties at high temperatures, we have been able to innovate the design of a machine that feeds, heats, bends and cools nylon tubes. Our Machine & Process An operator loads the parts into a feeder bin. The feeder allows for 180 tubes - that's 1 hour of unattended tube bending (20 seconds/part). Each part is then 'walked' through individual processing stages of the equipment. The first and second stages are the primary and secondary heater cores. The third stage is the bend tooling. The fourth stage is integrated into the third stage by cooling the parts with extremely chilled air. Finally, the parts are unloaded onto a chute so that an operator can retrieve the finished parts. An alternative is that an automatic transfer carries the parts to the next operation.
